Factory security is rubbish!! Simple!!

The use of a 'scanner ' aka code grabber allows easy access into a car... A theif with these special scanners simply waits for a person to lock/unlock their car from a distance... once you press your keyfob the signal is picked up by the scanner and copied... once you've left your car the theif simply unlocks your car with the copied signal...

Dont know about other alarm systems, but Clifford use a scrambled code/ code hopper programme... everytime the keyfob is used a different code is used..

If you're having Audio problems i feel bad for ya son... I've got 99 problems but Bass aint one!

I would like to know how they steal them. An insurance company will not pay out if you still have the keys. I believe that they cannot be driven without keys. They can be stolen by towing lifting etc but not driven. Can someone enlighten me ?

Thats not true, my mate had his car stolen from a car park at work (his keys were in his pocket!) not sure how they got it away but his insurance company paid out in full to agreed value.

what car and what year was it manufactured ?

Code grabbers have been around since the late 90's , if it was easy there would be thousands of cars stolen even if the equipment cost thousands .

lol Clifford wont save you... but whatever delays the theif is a result..

It does feature an additional pin required immobiliser tho... So even if they do get your keys they still wont be able to take your pride and joy..

If you're confronted by the theif.. simply let its blaxjax feature kick in...  :happy2:

This is a complete load of bollocks, they would not be coming in through our patios with bats if they could just use a little device.  :fighting2:

Cumbria police!

Can you please direct me to where they have said this ? It has an effect on all our Insurances and has to be backed up with accurate figures. So please for the benefit of all of our insurance premiums tell us what they have said or where we can read it for ourselves.

For your information most get away cars are not fast or performace cars .
