Thread hijack alert - anyone running a K04 with shark remap?  I know the Skoda K03 boys rave about Shark but would be interested if any Ed30 or K04 upgraded GTIs were using Shark.

Aaaaaargh! I'd just decided on Revo from my earlier Stage 1 thread, now all I'm hearing is Shark!

Fun Golf: 2016 mk7 R DSG 3 door. Work Golf: 2015 mk7 1.4 TSI GT ACT 5 door.
Gone but not forgotten : mk2 Golf GTI 16v, mk4 Golf V6 4Motion, mk5 GTI Storm Developments Stage 1, mk5 GTI Revo Stage 1, BMW 330ci, Skoda Octavia VRS Revo Stage 2, BMW Z4 Sdrive35i.

I swapped from bluefin to shark performance on my Octavia vRS2.0T and was mightly impressed.in the end i ended up with the stage 1, 2 and 3 maps on it.  I now run his software on my Fabia vRS

Ive been in 2 S3s running Shark Stage 1 maps and they were very good.  Its ideal to go for a tuner local to you really for after sales support
These were my thoughts on the swap

Quite a few guys on audisportnet run shark on their S3's,   been in this guys S3 and it was very smooth

I have an Angel Tuning remap on my vRS, however it will be going to stage 2 and it will be a Shark remap.  Swmbo's Golf GT PD140 is running a Shark stage 1 and my god is it good!

His: MK2 Black Magic Skoda Octavia vRS Estate
Hers: MK5 Graphite Blue Pearl VW Golf GT140 -

Does anyone have a GT 170 with a shark map? I want to get mine done in. The future and not sure what to go for. CC Tuning in Burton is the closest to me but Mansfield ain't too far either.

Judging by facebook and the recent  seatcupranet/briskoda threads there has been a mass influx of guys with custom code tdi170 de-dpfs stage 2 maps changing to Shark Performance.

BRISKODA is a good place to look for remap experiences, there loads on there

What is the difference then between stage 2+ and a stage 3??
Is it purely software, or what hardware is needed?
