« on: November 01, 2011, 07:50:16 am »
Whats the maximum size of SD card you can use with this headunit? I presume you use the card slots for music? Im a bit of a noob!

Anyone have an online manual?

Cheers

Joe

I think the SD card size depends on the SW version.

As above. I'm running a 32GB SDHC without any problems.

Just to add, I've got version B and think it's running 27x0 software.

I'm using a 2GB sandisk in mine and it holds a fair amount of music but i'm not one of these people that needs to carry every song they own around with them

My firmware is modded so i dont get battery drain or need to replace my can gateway  :happy2: if you've got everything running the lastest versions i think the 32GB is the largest card it will accept

Have you updated the driver for the card reader? My old laptop couldn't (made in 2003 and SDHC came out in 2006-7) but I managed to find the make of the card reader and download the drivers.

No I havent, not sure how i look for updates Im using the one thats built into my laptop. Bit annoying as both my laptops are running windows 7 and the new i3 intels!

EDIT - I think the card is bricked! Tried it in another laptop and a camera and i just get errors. Any one got a link of some good ones? Thought this one might have been cheap and cheerful but actually its cheap and crap
