Help exhaust problem
« on: November 21, 2011, 09:48:47 am »
My exhaust has separated from the turbo so I need a new one . Just waiting to see if it's covered on warranty , if not does a resonated miltek attach straight to turbo . Part I need from vw is 930 quid .
Thanks

You'll need a Milltek downpipe with cat that should mate up with your catback. You will  need a reducer if your present catback is not the same diameter as the milltek dp.
Without traction power is nothing!

Sounds like they want to sell you a full turbo back system when all you really need id the down pipe with cat. Have you enquired elsewhere if the flange can be rewelded to the pipe?
fwiw Awesome do this Milltek part for just under £600 http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=6101&xSec=152 . You may need a reducer to mate the above down pipe with your original catback.
