I know what you mean about the wind chill, but id guess the Rad would be a prime candidate for that too :wink: I had a look and most major brands of anti freeze only go down to -35 on a 50-50mix which is the strongest they recommend.



personally i buy what ever i see when i know i'm low, never had an issue yet :happy2:

I wouldn't use antifreeze for your screenwash as it will strip the paint.   :grin:

The screenwash bottle doesn't have a 200bph engine trying to dump heat into it, unlike the rad :wink:

I'm using some auto gleam stuff atm, but usually just get cheap stuff

I take the fuse out my xenon washers too so I dont get screen wash all up my wings  :wink:

i just use cheap stuff but it only goes to -8  :surprised:

but i thought that wont matter too much as when it gets to freezing ill just use the subaru so hopefullt iy will defrost nicley for when i do want to use it
