Are these Genuine?
« on: November 19, 2011, 05:01:51 pm »
Hi guys,
Just picked up my Golf 2 weeks ago. Thinking i had to get myself some car mats, to my surprise i have  2 pretty nice ones in the rear footwells. I wanna get front ones to match. Iv got some pictures i took earlier.

No Marking or VW part no. on them either.

Its a long shot but i was wondering if anyone knows what mats they are, if they are Genuine VW, and where i can buy myself a front pair to match.

yup they look like the ones i removed earlier as i've now put in the rubber mats for winter. A few sellers on ebay have mats cheaper than VW for just the fronts. I'll see if i can find you a link.

They are genuine GTI mats, an extra when new.

The fronts have a red GTI logo stitched in, looks really good. I bought a set of 4 from a dealer for about £55.

Anyone got the part numbers for the genuine golf ones? think I may get some as wasn't happy with the quality of a set I bought off a custom site.
