How to get pops and bangs from your exhaust, or even flames!

As above does anyone know what kind of modificaton would make my exhuast POP loud? i have blueflame 3" catback atm

It is possible to write them into the map on the ECU. Speak to nick at R- Tech.. He can do all that stuff.

A decat will help though.

So while all this is going on what's happening to your silencer, turbo etc? :stupid: I can't imagine a shock wave like that doing them much good,,,,,,but ETTO.

Well you get pops and bangs by dumping fuel into the hot exhaust.... You do the math.

Doesnt the new RS6 do this? Saw it on Top Gear, it does sound awsome  :ashamed:

I think that was clarksons reason for the DSG pop... I doubt it dumps fuel into the exhaust!

Yup i heard this too. It drops a drop of fuel in the exhaust to create the sound. sweet.. lol

I like the sound of zorsts that pop a bit as long as it is not coming from a Saxo. Much rather this than a zorst that is overtly loud.   :driver:

Just ask your tuner to allow it to overfuel on over run and along the bottom scale of the ign advance map remove all advance, set to zero.

Saxo vts and civic type R drivers will be 'proper jelus like'
