2007 JETTA TDI owner checking in.
« on: November 08, 2011, 09:49:05 pm »
Been lurking for a while,
but finally we bought our new family car last week.
2007 plate, 72k miles 140 TDI Jetta.

In black.

Its an awesome car from first impressions, the boot is just cavernous and we are loving the boot pop on the key fob!

Plans are on the way....

I bought a set of Lexus SC430 rims about a year ago from a breakers up north for very cheap.
Already bought a brand new set of bin-lids chrome trims for them from the states.
Planning on splitting them down, painting the solids dark grey then building them up.

GAZ coilovers going on as soon as I can be arsed to get out there and measure the size of the shocks.....(so it'll probably be spring!!)

Looking for some subtle body mods, but apart from a front and rear rieger bumper spoiler there really isn't much I fancy.
I'm scouring the for sale pages for either one of these or a Votex one, but thats about it.

Smooth grille surround has been purchased and can't decide whether to mount the metal pressed plates with magnets in the normal place, or whack it in the middle of the lower grille?

Thanks for looking, and prepare for some dumb questions!
