My steel grey Ed30
« on: November 24, 2011, 08:47:02 pm »
I thought i should put some decent pictures on here after my poor iphone attempt in my newbie thread  :ashamed: Only had the car a week and absolutely  it, managed to give it a wash, clay, polish and wax on the weekend so it looks a hundred times better than when i picked it up. I need to get the front bumper resprayed to make it mint, i think its been caught on a kurb at some point. Hope you like it  :happy2:

I'm properly impressed with it  I love the way its so lazy to drive you can just totter around in top gear one minuite and the next you can get a serious shift on without any fuss. Its so easy to drive quickly. And the mpg isnt as bad as i was expecting either  :happy2:

Smart indeed, fella! My fave colour  and you've got the important bits of the extra spec, Xenons & MFSW etc...

It makes the Fabia look tiny parked that closely!

Thought i'd better update this, still in love with the beast. Had the bumper sprayed before xmas so its now pretty mint
Have already bought some bits for it, including a carbonio intake and panel filter

Carbon fibre wrapped my grille badge, and fitted open fog grilles along with pressed plates. (sh*te photo  :ashamed:)

Fitted some front mudflasps so that the sideskirts dont get so chipped

Purchased the S3 front brake upgrade, massive improvement over standard  :happy2:

Also got some chrome effect window switches and some Gti seat inserts.

Here's how it looks after a clean

And its also booked in for stage 1 on the 18th, Shhhhhhh dont tell the wife though  :scared:

Nope, straight fit. They are genuine ones for the normal GTI. I think they were £35 on ebay.
