Trackday at bedford autodrome more pics!!!
« on: April 19, 2009, 04:23:44 pm »
Went to spectate at bedford trackday yesterday, went down with my mate in his m3 csl and met up with a few of the mini boys and neilm in his ed30.
Heres a few pics from the day

Heres a mint porsche turbo with dymag carbon fibre 19's and titanium exhaust
Sadly an idiot in a DB9 convertible smashed into it

My mates m3 csl

NeilM coming into the pits, neil also took me out for a few laps. Very impressed with his car and driving :happy2:

A few of the mini boys, got a passenger ride in the blue one. Thats thing was unbelievable on track, we went past an m3, a csl, porsche turbo. Was funny as hell, all the supercar owners were coming up to the owner asking him what the hell he had done to it :signLOL:

A nice ariel atom 300

Had an awesome day and will definately be taking my car to bedford as there is loads of run off area so less chance of damaging the car if you have an off.
As soon as my clutch is done im booking the next trackday along with some track tuition :happy2:

Found some more pics on another forum. Pics of the crashed porsche turbo and DB9. Apparently the guy who owns the porsche is richard hammonds dad.

No pics mate, both were write offs and 2 of the dymag wheels were ruined . Cars were put in a lockup for safekeeping and to be inspected.

The mini is completey stripped, cage, coilovers, big brakes, yoko paradas, 280bhp and weighs around 1 tonne.
He will be at quite a few trackdays and he is happy to give anyone a passenger ride :happy2:
