Hey folks,

Been thinking of changing the seats in my Mk5 Gti of late. I have heated leather. What do people recommend??.

I kind of have a track/OEM style on the outside. Looking for something similiar inside.

I do a lot of mileage and regularly have my parents in the car so nothing too tight.

What kind of money do they make??. Rare as I'd say??.

I have CS's on the brain but they're getting common now imo and still big money.

Not sure, i know someone was selling some leather ones recently but wanted over a grand i think.

Might be good to try ebay for breakers maybe pick up some focus RS recaros or some out a corsa vxr or something and get custom subframes made?

Has to be OEM VAG buckets. They are purely for looks tho, there's not much weight saving to be had over regular seats

There was some out of a Corsa VXR or ClioRS I think on there lately for £900odd.

I heard they're not as good quality though??.

The backs of mine haven't been sprayed / vinyl wrapped gloss black (although its crossed my mind many times  )

Mmmmm, they do look nice Mike.

I'd be retrimming them anyway, but was hoping for a bit of weight saving. They're an option I'll keep in mind though!!.

Anyone used Pole Positions on a daily driver??.
