The dreaded ... Tyres needed :-( Advice please

Hi all
Well, I need tyres, 4 of the things!! 
Just wondering what would be reccomended, usually put Mitchelin PS3's on but its a tad too close to Xmas to do all four in them. What's everyone's favourites/Most reccomended?
Advice and opinions would be greatly appreciated

I think if you are in the market for a second set of wheels then finding some with tyres on already is a way of getting tyres for free (nearly). This is what i have done in the past and this time of year theres plenty about. This will get you past the dreaded Xmas period and then you can put your PS3's on in the spring

I am well chuffed with my Pirelli P Zero Rosso, 18's assymetrics, which are good for all round weather conditions. I paid 100 plus VAT per corner, including fitting, balancing and valves at Trade Tyres, Guildford Surrey.

Uniroyal rainsport 2 are a highly regarded all weather tyre with very impressive wet grip (as the name suggests). I ran them on my STi as a poor weather tyre and was impressed. Cheaper than the premium usual suspects, and maybe a good compromise for this time of year?

avon zz3, good in winter + good  in summer, not expensive.

Agree'd, got Pirelli P Zero Rosso's on mine and they seem great, not silly money either!

Good choice it's a very noticeable difference in how quiet the drive is on these tyres.
And when it rains heavy you can see clearly out the back window due to very little kick up of water Spray
as the tyres channel the rain properly off the tyres

I was steered away from the Goodyear F1's, as you've only got to look at a pot hole and they blister their sidewalls. A mate said he has bought them 3 times and never got anywhere near wearing them out, they had to be replaced.
