For Your Viewing Pleasure!
« on: April 13, 2009, 10:21:01 pm »
After what seems like an eternity, the prodigal young man returns to the stage for which he was born; the world stage.

I have been keeping my head down due to the immensely high level work (cough) I have been involved in with University. However, I recently took time out of my hectic schedule to organise some car pornography for the avid fan.

The GTI on show here is non other than my very own 58 plate Pirelli which as can be seen is feast for the optic senses. Magazines the world over have been scrambling for the vehicle to appear on their front covers.

Performance VW magazine recently described it as “the perfect mix of OEM and owner designed aesthetics”. Whilst Ultra VW magazine were “enthused” by the performance on tap and “delighted” at the choice of spec. However, I think it was Evo who really summed it up when they concluded that “this is quite possibly the best example of a Mk5 GTI in existence today!”

I am therefore delighted to bring you the pictures that tell the ultimate story of sacrifice and victory!

I can’t claim to take credit for being the photographer; however I am sure it was only by my inspiration behind the lens that helped capture the magnificence of this beast in its wild and natural habitat!

Enough with the pre-amble bant:

This one's contravesial here! lol

One of me at the wheel for the fans!

     i was expecting prince Naseem to be gracing our forum with a lambo.

I might sound rude here, but i was expecting better pics from a professional, a couple of the night time shots are good though.

Ah that's what it is, I thought it was a bag that had been blown up and stuck to the grill... :signLOL:

Nice pics by the way... :happy2:

I can vouch for the fact that the car looks much better in real life - and I'm sure those that have seen it in real life will agree.

With regard to the photos - 80% look professional to me?! All they need is a nice black border around them and no-one would be able to tell the difference!

The numberplate I'll agree looks very lost in those photos - merely due to the fact that it is a big white square in the middle of the photo. In real life, when you can actually see the numbers it does look pretty good. People say that my number plate looks gash where it is (I agree entirely), but i think leaving the front mask black, or carbon in this instance changes the whole front end of the GTI and makes it look superb - and really detracts the eye from the numberplate location.

Nice pics mate, looking forward to the future when the modifications begin!  :happy2:

Nice shots of the Pirelli there, agree with the square reg, would look better normally positioned with a rectangular plate, maybe shortened or smaller version like Greenouses to still show off the carbon fibre front behind.
Your mate needs lots of practice, im a complete amature at taking pics, but thats the sort of standard i'd get on my own!.Nice write up at the start
