I'll be honest.
I always loved the slammed look, but like you could not afford air.
So I bought some Bilsteins, They got great handling but didn't go low, so I changed to FK's to get low, but the ride was awful, so I changed to AP's, the ride was good, and the height was better, but it just wasn't the same.
By this point I had spent £200 each time getting coilovers fitted, and lost £200 each time I sold my coilovers as they just didn't get what I wanted. That's £1200 with nothing to show for it, So I bit the bullet and got air, there are a lot of companies that do it at a decent price now.
And with the spec you mentioned you won't be satisfied until you get the car slammed imo.
(though 9.5 fronts will probably be a bit too close to drive comfortably)
