Having only drove the 105bhp BXE engine in an Audi A3 i can say not massive but the potential for improvement in the BKD 140 is far superior.

Nothing overly special with mine at the min.

Its an 07 TDI 140 Sport.

The only mods so far are a remap with pipercross panel filter, its also been lowered 35mm on koni springs and I've got koni adjustable yellow shocks all round and GTI hella headlights.

Exterior wise I'm gonna be a bit stealthy by keeping looking almost standard bar a couple of tiny OE add ons plus a set of 18's.

Currently looks like this but more dirty lol.

Had it on the rollers recently and its currently running 187bhp and 352lb/ft of torque but I'm still wanting a lot more.

You'd get more bhp on the rollers if that bloke wasn't sat on the front of the car.

Picked this up for my wife back in July, had been searching for some time to get the right car / colour and spec combo, it finally turned up right on the south coast (could have fished from her front door nearly!)
I posted a wanted advert on here but most seemed to think I was dreaming when I posted the spec list! :P

Anyway, after 2 days with the Menzerna and rotary it cleaned up quite well.

Original Spec: 140 GT TDi:

Dual Clima,
Sunroof.
Cruise.
Winter pack (Heated jets / headlamp washers etc).
Sound Pack.
Lux Pack2 (Auto dimming interior & exterior/ folding exterior mirrors/ Auto lights / coming / leaving function / additional interior lighting.
Auto wipers etc).
Leather / electric / heated with load through rear arm rest.
Armrest with 6 disc CD & rear air vents.
Optional 17” Grand Prix split rims.

Retro fitted since purchase:

Xenon’s.
GTi front bumper and front panel with the lower spoiler smoothed and painted.
GTD grill badge.
R-Line rear bumper.
GTI tailgate spoiler.
Valeo rear LED tail lights.
“B” pillar trims painted pearl black.
R-Line Golfball style gear knob and gaitor.

Purchased but still to fit:
GTi side sills smoothed and painted.
GTi front and rear brakes + Mintex pads.
Might fit 996 GT2 6 pot calipers and 365mm discs if the GTi ones aren’t up to much.
Coilovers.
8.5 + 9.5x18” EtaBeta Krone split rims.
GTi pedal set.
Mk6 headlight, mirror and window switches.
Mk6 MFSW.
US spec front grill and open lower grills.

Future purchases:
Highline clocks.
TPMS.
R32 rear bumper and aftermarket exhaust.
Decatted downpipe.
Remap.
Black headcloth and trims.
Silver dash / door trims or Some OSIR Carbon items....

Eibach Anti Roll Bars.
Skyline effect the rear LED’s.

Anxious drive home after the tailgate spoiler was bonded on.......

Trying to get an idea of spacer widths required and what tyre widths.....

I think a magic wand will be more appropriate.......  :ashamed:
