I'm waiting on delivery of a diesel 'daily'.

Spec below in my sig. Being a Match is comes loaded with loads of option already but I threw a few more toys and creature comforts in for good measure. It's coming in incognito black (fed-up with the attention the R32 attracts at times).

Having tested one, DSG more than makes up for the somewhat weak engine, but it's so much smoother than the old 1.9 PD. 70mpg will be an improvement on the V6 too.

Might remap it if they ever crack the new Continental ECU otherwise, I'm looking for some GTD headrests (only difference between standard leather and GTI/GTD seats are the headrests), RNS510 (cheaper aftermarket), GTD steering wheel and if dont get the new style DSG shifter, I'll be popping a GTD unit in too.

Not quick, but smooth, comfortable and economical on long journeys. Should land mid Feb.
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?

Mile-muncher ordered: MkVI 1.6 TDi BlueMotion Match DSG with leather, winter pack, luxury pack, fogs, climate control, Dynaudio pack, RCD510 with DAB & MDI, flat tyre indicator

I can live with that comparison  :happy2:  Yours has always my favourite MK5 - I've a long way to go to compete with your interior mods  :signLOL:

Just when you think your getting there i see your thread and think, bloody hell thats an excellent mod, i woundnt mind doing that ha ha

Cheers matto, a great compliment   :happy2:  Happy with the front now, more mods to the rear and interior to come (Hopefully!)

Think our cars look very similar at the front & love the wheels you have - i was on the hunt for a set myself for ages and give up (Ultra rare), suit the MK5 perfectly

Cheers mate. Yeah they do look similar. Think the Xenons just finish it off. Something I will be doing in the new year.
