So I picked up a brand new mfsw from German eBay, also needed the airbag wire and I had to change the steering wheel control module as well, which I purchased from Eddie NL (great guy to deal with and I'd highly recommend him).

I have a set of highline clocks (petrol), I'm debating to put them in or holdout and try and find a set of diesel clocks. That's the next plan.

Possibly an rns510 from Santa, I've been fairly good this year so we'll see :)

Brushed aluminium ashtray I picked up from Donal.

Changed all the interior bulbs for LED's about a year ago and never put up a pic. Brutal pic with the phone but you get the idea.

Have timing belt done in a few k's, motor tax due at the end of the month so thats another expense.

Still love driving it.  The H&R cup kit is a fantastic kit, really happy with how the car handles and it sits really well.  It should have been one of the first things I installed.

Probably go back to winter mode in the next few weeks (17" classix with Nankang SV2's, 15mm H&R spacers on the rear and 10mm up front)

So Santa came and brought me a RNS510 version H. Absolutely delighted with it.  Huge improvement in sound over the standard stereo.  Screen is very sharp, DVD quality is pretty decent.   Have all my music on a sd card so I have all artists, song titles, etc displayed.  Ill see how it goes, might get the mdi kit for the iPod.

Sat nav is very accurate and detailed.  Even my tiny little village in Galway, Ireland is on it.  My Tom Tom didn't.

If I keep the car long enough ill probably install the highline clocks to get full rns and BT functionality.  Next addition will be the Bluetooth module.

Does anybody know will the same bluetooth module work with both midline and highline clusters?

Also the car is back on winter shoes. 17" classix with nankang SV2's.  H&R spacers; 30mm at the back, 20mm on the front.

Ever since i got caught rotten by the guards with the bloody phone up to my ear as she knocked on my wondow ive been meaning to sort out a hands free option.  So I fitted the Fiscon Basic Plus yesterday.  Fantastic piece of kit.  Call quality is excellent and it intergrates really well with the Rns510.  At the moment it's controlled solely by the touch screen of the rns as I only have the midline display.  If I had highline clocks everything would be displayed on the highline display aswell and I would have full functionality of the mfsw.  It can also stream music from my iPhone onto the rns

I fitted the oem microphone in the overhead dome light.  I ran it down along the drivers A-pillar, behind the clocks to the rns.  I placed the Bluetooth module itself under the ashtray as there is loads of room there.  No coding needed, just plug and play.  There is nothing visible which the way I wanted it.

Plans are timing belt next and then highline clocks.

Looks great!

Got a vortex rear spoiler sat in a box under my bed. Really need to drop it off at the bodyshop with my Jetta front bumper to get them painted!
How hard can it be?
