cruise control advice needed

hi guys im looking to fit cruise control to my car.

how do i no if my car is compatable?
how do i no if i need any extra parts?
ive read a few posts saying that i may need to run a wire through to the engine and a new steering wheel control module?

my car is a 04 gt tdi 140

It is
You probably don't need to change the controller.
You will need the wire (100%)

I have a 05 and installed cruise recently. I didn't need to replace the controler.

I did have to install the wire. Not a major job, there are plenty of guides to help you.

ive got a cruise control module if you do need one mate  :happy2:
