Hello from London
« on: December 06, 2011, 11:03:18 am »
Hello, New to the forum! (obviously)

Currently on a mk5 gti mostly standard apart from a m/t exhaust, r32 interior parts and some other small pieces.

Looking to meet some new people / learn a lot from the forum and live in london not far from crystal palace and it seems like a eternity since I last saw another gti.

The next major things I want to do are wheels , suspension, wot and stage two. In between I want to do the normal everyday modifications such as boost gauge (newsouth or podi?) and maybe some smart and simple exterior mods to give a clean looking mk5 gti.

Oh and im quite  :booty: about detailing (I even have a little brush for the air vents hahaha!) which is a shame because as winter comes closer I can't clean as much!

Hopefully Im gunna do a write up soon on headlight restoration with turtle wax headlight restoration kit (and whether it actually works or now / whether it hasn't already been done)

and pictures (sorry one's dark, these are all I have on my phone atm)

Soooo, a little more than most post first time but HI!  :drinking:

Cheers,

Yeah I have a good Idea but will probably need some help from the friendly forum and get some bits of advice for experiences and or ideas.

I've been reading through and seeing plenty of answers to my more basic questions so planning not to

be one of those people who ask the most asked question and expect and

answer  :fighting2:

Wahey Addiscombe! thats not far at all! I usually drive through Addiscombe on my way to croydon so yeah give me a flash if you see me!If your near the tram station about 10 mins. Do you know any meetings that go on etc? I know there was a crystal palace run but got moved somewhere :S That may be reaaallly useful soon as I've been wanting to install a cruise control, sat nav and high line. Something you could help with?

You'll regret telling me that as im quite prone to doing stuff like pulling the air bag out and being left with a warning light for 7 months. But Im installing a boost gauge thursday and although it shouldn't this is me we're talking about. So check you pm on thurs  :signLOL:
