R32/S3/Cupra pad retaining clips - what colour?

Guys, the S3 front calipers are currently receiving a nice powder coat in red.  :party:

Next question is what colour to do the retaining clip?  I am undecided between stain black, black magic (to match the car), silver or wrapping in carbon film (currently done but concerned regarding operating temperatures and the film melting).  To aid choices as mentioned the car is black magic and they will be sitting behind anthracite BBS CH reps........

I would go for black.
Where did you get your clips?


I have some black S3 brakes, and want to fit some silver clips to match the silver of the car, but mine are black, not sure if it's cheaper for me to buy new ones, or paint the ones I have.
Also, can you take them out easily once the brakes are fitted. :happy2:

They are the clips that came with the brakes, so far they have been graphite (oe) silver, black and now wrapped in carbon film.  Very easy to prep and paint buddy.  Not sure how easy the clips are to remove when the brakes are on the car, off they were a bitch to remove.....
