Front Seat removal Guide...?
« on: December 08, 2011, 08:12:15 pm »
Looking to remove the standard interior out of my car for heated GTI seats this weekend.. Its a 5door car..has anyone does this?

Anyone know what tools i will potentially need?

Had a search on here but only found a guide for the rear seats, nothing for the fronts

Cheers in advance..

Done it this week for heated leathers.  There are four M10 spline bolts, then it's a case of undoing the wires and lifting out the seats.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Cheers Skard  :happy2:

Is that the same spline socket required to remove the rear seats - The seat belt bolt?

Cheers Phil  :happy2:

Will disconnecting the battery beforehand prevent the airbag light coming on the dash?
