Hi all, now ive got a slight problem with my 04 1.9 TDI, here is the issue....
over the last month or so on about 4 drives the temp gauge hasnt moved in a 10 mile drive, heater gets hot all the hoses get hot but the bottom hose (the one the thermostat is in) at first i thought it was due to cold weather but it hasnt worked today and its warmer today than yesterday
I fitted a new thermostat from TPS 12 months ago, im thinking it could be
A, the thermostat
B, the water pump impeller
C, the temp switch (altho there isnt a code to back this up)
i dont think its a cluster/wiring fault due to it works when i test it in cluster test on the modus at work
the thing that worries me is the bottom hose (from the thermostat) isnt getting warm even after 10 miles (giving it some)
so what are your thoughts, i have very little spare time so with this i just wanna get the part in tomorrow and fit it so its sorted
