RNS510 and MK6 MFSW
« on: December 07, 2011, 09:19:13 pm »
Can anyone say for certain whether it is possible to use the two side buttons on the left side of a Mk6 MFSW for track/station changing on an RNS510.
The car is a 2005 MK5 Gti with an uprated can gateway to avoid battery drain, and, I think, 2720 firmware.

I can change tracks/stations with the right hand up/down buttons, but only in when in audio mode on the Highline display. I presume that these buttons have that function in a MK6?

Hi

When I had my MFD2 the buttons worked on the Right
After I changed to the RNS510 the function was lost and available when in the audio option
If you don't have a Highline then coding the RNS to BAP would make the buttons work again
