High power, snow tyres and dyno's

Just a quick mention to those with winter/snow tyres, if you plan on a winter dyno session then its best to switch to your stock tyres. The snow tyres overheat very quickly and the surface gets so soft that grip is an issue which in turn affects power readings.

Indeed it was my little car on the rollers at PDT's.
The winter Conti tyres are really good in cold weather but obviously rolling road surfaces are somewhat warmer than 7 degrees celsius.

Hope to get it back in during the spring to see what the new map is putting out through the summer boots.
However the bum dyno on the way home tonight tells me St2+ is quite some way on from St1.

Rather addictive on the requested 'mild' St2+, well chuffed. Top work Dave, cheers for cleaning it.

If I remember correctly, my car suffered the same thing on PDT's dyno last year aswell with the winter tyres on
