led interior lights

hi guys im thinking of changing my interior lights to leds . im not sure if i need a full kit as my gti does not have footwell lights . i just need the 6 in the roof (3 at the front and 3 at the rear) and 1 in the boot . any ideas what type the are . and also is it hard to fit foot well lights ?

I have no footwell lights.  I have the above kit and I'm very happy with it.

The roof ones are w5w 501's for the rear 3 and the 2 outer front ones. You'll need a festoon bulb which I think are about 30mm long? (Something like that) for the boot and front centre one. Footwells are 501's, as is the glovebox if you wanna do that as well. The vanity mirror ones take the festoons.

For the footwells you do need to prise open the holders but it's easy, and the boot holder is a bit too long for the bulb but a bit of kitchen foil has worked fine for me for the last 18 months  :happy2:
