Passenger seat moving
« on: December 13, 2011, 10:55:30 pm »
Has anyone had this problem? It moves very slightly on the runners when accelerating for example. Its like its slipping if you get my drift. What do I need to do to stop this?? Cheers

Moves in it's runners or the back rest rocking slightly?

My old A3 had a passenger seat that 'rocked' slightly, turned out to be a loose mounting bolt on the rear of the seat subframe!

I have had my drivers seat do something similar when i have moved it from the wifes driving position, it'll feel fine then will shift slightly and 'click' into position if you brake or accelerate heavily, felt like it was only locked in on one side if that makes sense? Doesnt move after that and has only happened a few times to be fair..
I lubed up any obvious latches and the mechanism under the seat with some Quantum maintenance spray and hasnt done it since
