I mean as in a 3.5mm jack plug near the handbreak to plug in a cable from your iPod/MP3 etc.

But by the sounds of things you won't.

So IMHO I would get a Aux in adapter from the likes of Connects 2 that plugs in to the CD changer port on the head unit as this will give the best sound quality. I would then get a vent mount (plenty on ebay) and run a 3.5mm cable from the connects 2 box upto the mount  :happy2:

Or remove the terrible standard headunit and fit an aftermarket one with a proper full control iPod cable.

I was happy to find out that the single DIN faceplate/cage has a hole inbetween where the headunit mounts and the cubby hole underneath.  So you can run the cable out of the back and under the headunit and down the hole allowing you to put your iPhone/iPod in the cubbyhole.  Keeping unslightly cables out of the way, was most impressed with this.  :happy2:

I don't I am afraid, but I can try and get some after the weekend.  I am getting on a plane first thing in the morning and won't be back until Monday.  I can try and get one then.  :happy2:

EDIT:

That is what the single DIN adapter looks like.  There is a natural hole located in that little cubby hole that I run my iPod cable through to my Alpine headunit.  It is located on the roof of the cubby hole, allowing you to run a cable up there.  Without cutting, drilling etc and keeps everything tidy.
