I wouldnt care about what was faster if I had a 135i

I certainly won't lose sleep over it mate, that is for sure.
I have always thought that the 1er was slightly slower than my old ED30 over that range and tbh I would normally have found myself climbing the walls to add more mods to make sure that wasn't the case. However, the way the car is at the minute and the power delivery that it now has post-software, for me has given the car a perfect set up. Yes it could do with a LSD and with a aftermarket exhaust etc would sound even nicer, but I haven't found myself craving the extra power as much as I originally thought.
I must be getting old..  :signLOL:

The fact it posted near identical times to what my Stage 2+ ED30 did last year (16.60 for 135i  vs 16.67 Ed30) is just a bonus   I do miss the bonkers attitude my Eddie had though and it was much more underestimated. I certainly haven't ruled out getting another in the near future as a track car/toy..

Graph of best run from the day for the 1er (including my mate's runs too).
Mine - Red
Light Blue - Manual 135i (identical to mine including DMS map, but manual)
Green - 400bhp Scoob P1
Dark Blue - Stage 2+ S3

Seeing as the 1er run a near identical time to my old Stage 2+ DSG ED30, I asked Dave from MLR is he could overlay last year's best run (Ed30) with this year's best run (135i) to see where the 2 cars may of gained/lost time. This was the result....  :surprised: :surprised: :surprised:

135i - Red
Ed30 -  Blue

To say they are close is an understatement..   :surprised:

Yes mate.. My best run from this year was right at the end of the day though and although it was still very slightly damp, it did grip quite well and only suffered a tiny bit a wheel spin in 2nd..

Ben, über impressive for both of your cars, but the BMW, wow, when you take into account the modds you did on each, the BMW is impressive !!
When you have a comparison like that, I have a better understanding of why you done feel the need to rush down the route of further enhancements

Don't judge me by your ability !

Cheers Tom..

I would dearly love to add a cat-less DP and another 20-30 horses, but the risk of losing warranty and having to change tuners just isn't worth it IMO. Plus as I said before, if it ain't broke...

The Golf did have more mods, but was still far from highly modded when you think that all it had was an exhaust, intake, Fuel pump internals and map. Plus it was lacking in cc's and cylinders too.
To be honest, I never thought the BM would match the Golf's time and had predicted a 17-18sec run at best. Was really shocked after I did my first run and posted a 16.7  :surprised:
