I'm considering getting my wheels painted, have had the idea of Gloss Black (My Car is Black) but thought about getting red wheels...

has anyone done this before?

Wild/different colours looks good sometimes instead of going black all the time. Not on a VAG but my first car ;)

Blood red would go nice

Search for 'liver' on here. He has red lambo reps.

Not my cuppa, but each to their own.

See, there aren't many GTI's that have had slight alterations on wheel colour in Edinburgh, Saw a Black GTi like mine with gloss black alloys and it looked amazing ( I love the black on black look) but going with the original colour scheme I thought red would be something different, going to photoshop it and see what its like.

not a fan of just any old colour on wheels, has to tie in with other things on the car

Yeah well, thats why I thought red, just because of the lipstick line around the grill and also the red calipers
