Idea for an xmas present for myself??
« on: December 17, 2011, 06:29:14 pm »
Guys,

Missus is getting very frustrated with me as she wants to know what I want for xmas and I cannot think of anything I want.

She's got me a couple of biking items as I'm really into mountain biking but she wants to buy me another gift around £100. I've spent the year replacing everything on my bike and its finished apart from the 2 items she's bought me.

Don't need any cloths, car items, biking items, detailing items, blu rays or any electrical items.  Genuinely stumped as the only thing I can think of is a 330d touring which she can't stretch to

I've told her not to worry but she loves giving at xmas so need to come up with something :santa:

Come on guys, what don't I know I need :signLOL:

Decent booze, food, chocs or a meal out for the two of you (followed by  :innocent:).

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.

What other hobbies do you have?

Are you into reading? thinking along the lines of a Kindle

Or what about a driving experiance?

Or Camera related equiptment?

I like a bit of reading but have bought her a kindle.  Driving experience is a good idea though will look into that.  I've had loads of cameras over the years including SLR's but ended up back with a bridge camera which does everything I need right now

£100 trackday voucher from MSV or similar?

Would probably pay for 80% of a spring trackday for you  :happy2:

Liking the idea of a track day.

Anyone got any experience of sound bars?  Like the look of the samsung d450 sound bar as my samsung tv doesn't have the greatest speakers and like the idea on one simple device under the tv?
