Forum Rolling Road day @ Superchips 6th June 2009
SteveP:
^^^ They do have a dyno, thats what the day is around :happy2:
At the moment your number 26 on the list so the first on the reverse list as the max recommend for the day is 25 runners but we should be able to get you on. All the details are in the first page of the thread.
SC don't list a remap for the TSI 170 so they won't be able to offer anything for your car at present.
Rich:
Thats a shame :(
Certainly hope they can get me on the dyno !!!!!! :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove:
Does the dyno track/allign the wheels ?? ? ?
I haven't done this changing from 17" wheels to 19"
The wheels/tyres were alligned when i got them - and driving it atm everything feels smooth - so shouldnt need to bother, but i always like to double check.
Top Cat:
Just to make it clear about this meeting.
It is primarily a forum meeting to have a chat and a nose around each other's cars. The rolling road side of it is just a side event.
Now that all the places on the rolling road are filled please dont think that its not worth attending.
It would be great if we could get lots more of our members down their making it an even better day. Please try and find the time to attend. :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

No. It measures bhp and torque at the wheels and calculates the flywheel power from the gearbox drag and/or the load applied.

@ Richi
Just to make it clear if not already: "Dyno" is another word for "Rolling Road"
