Hey,

Yes im defoooo coming !!!!!!!!      :jumping:

Put me down,

I had my GT TSi 170ps remapped to 198bhp by Custom Tuning.

Can they achieve anymore with it ? If so, are they able to override the remap done by Custom Tuning ?

I'll be coming down with Caz, he's coming down from Scarbourough, im coming from Wakefield - near Dewsbury. If anyone else wants to meet up on the way, let me know, would be good cruising down together  :happy2: :grouphug:

Out of interest I take it that Superchips will do a Vagcom check and all that jazz before the maps? Might also be a shout if anyone with Vagcom wouldn't mind bringing it along to do some data logging throughout the runs?

....I would expect that all that would be automatically done by SC's dyno system and they'll have a laptop with VCDS hooked up anyway.

Cheers for that RR, it'll be a first for me so I'm not really sure what to expect on the day, either way you've cleared it up for me  :happy2:

Well, I'm not 100% because I've never been to Superchips HQ, but that's what good dyno people usually do, and they are good AFAIK.

Do they have a Dyno ???

I'd like to see what im getting out of mine after Custom Tuning remap

Can these Superchip people re-tune mine further than 198bhp ?  ( this is what Custom Tuning claim they tuned it to )

Some get back on this, cheers  :drinking:

^^^ They do have a dyno, thats what the day is around  :happy2:

At the moment your number 26 on the list so the first on the reverse list as the max recommend for the day is 25 runners but we should be able to get you on. All the details are in the first page of the thread.

SC don't list a remap for the TSI 170 so they won't be able to offer anything for your car at present.

Thats a shame :(

Certainly hope they can get me on the dyno !!!!!!  :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove: :jumpmove:

Does the dyno track/allign the wheels ?? ? ?

I haven't done this changing from 17" wheels to 19"

The wheels/tyres were alligned when i got them - and driving it atm everything feels smooth - so shouldnt need to bother, but i always like to double check.

Just to make it clear about this meeting.

It is primarily a forum meeting to have a chat and a nose around each other's cars. The rolling road side of it is just a side event.
Now that all the places on the rolling road are filled please dont think that its not worth attending.
It would be great if we could get lots more of our members down their making it an even better day. Please try and find the time to attend.

No. It measures bhp and torque at the wheels and calculates the flywheel power from the gearbox drag and/or the load applied.

@ Richi

Just to make it clear if not already: "Dyno" is another word for "Rolling Road"
