Time-served mechanical fitter (with 0 years experience  :laugh: ) soon as I received my papers, I moved into the office and began to train as a CAD draughtsman/design engineer for an oil/gas/industrial pump company.

Had to quote this as it's pretty much identical as me!! Here goes:

Time-served mechanical fitter (although I have 3 years experience  :laugh:). When I recieved my papers I mananged to get my company to send me into university on a day-release programme, meaning I would move into the office at some point. And I moved in at the beginning of this year to train as a CAD draughtsman/design engineer for a hydraulic engineering company.  :happy2:

Telecomms engineer.  I install, commission and fix faults on radio base station equipment and associated gubbins in the Vodafone network.

Was  Sparky (Motorbike accident so)
Took a Job as a Electrical Design Engineer
Now at Uni doing BENG in motorsport

I did notice when they were new there was alot of accountants and IT owners but they only stick around for a year maybe two then move on to something else and leave the low paid Engineers to pick up the sloppy seconds. :evilgrin:

Work at an airport in London as ground crew and see smaller ones like this down at the private jets end most days  :drool: alot less hassle to turnaround in half an hour than what i deal with  :signLOL:
