i was wanting to fit an amplifier, does the rcd 300 have connections at the back for the RCA cables?. if so any problems i should be aware of?

Hi,

No, the RCD300 will not have connections at the back for RCA cables sadly...which is the case with many factory headunits. Your cheapest solution without buying another headunit is to make sure your amp take high-level input (i.e. from speaker leads)
