What's the weight on a 17" Turini?

There's a good list of wheels on this site, have a search on the light 17x8's and see if anything comes in a useful size?

.... x2

They are classic and suit the GTI. BUT, they aren't quite Jonny's style in the context of his whole car perhaps.

Ha ha, I'd beg to differ RR...

They're forged however, so they'll cost a bloody bomb!

£700 each.. Errrr I think not lol..

I can get a set of 17x8.5 ET55 LM's though.. They need wobble bolts as there 114 PCD (BBS do a TUV approved kit apparently) and would also need a 10mm spacer all round..

£1200 for the wheels + would need to buy spacers and bolts, so another £200 say.. Pretty pricey again I think!

I have say that I think I'd go with OZ Alleggerita myself as well. But I've always liked the Pro Race 1.2s and I think these are what I will get, despite being heavier especially if you can now get them without branding - of is that a special order?

IMHO, I dont like the Compomotive design with the spokes tucked into the rim - I know its purely aesthetic, but it makes them look tiny. Same as the old OZ Chronos.

I'm sure its been covered before but can anyone post Monza weights for comparison please?

Jonny, have you had to make any modifications to wheel arches to get 17x8 fit on a GTi? What width are the standard 17/18" wheels?
Only 250.1bhp - but with that noise, who cares?
