just wanted to thank everyone on replying

just an update the mayo stuff has nearly gone ive not done anything to the car but drive it a little bit more

and the help of the warmer weather

glad i found this thread as i was panicking myself.

My gti isnt really driven much as i use the van for work so the car might do 10 miles a day at most, and the mrs does most of them and seeing as she is learning at the moment the car really isnt getting a chance to get hot.

Think i might take it on a nice drive down some a roads on the weekend, let it stretch its legs and ghet warm :)
