The control module is correct as it was upto the change date, remember you need 2 of them

Hi

I would stick with a panel that has ECON. You will still need to make or buy a loom that goes from the seat base to the floor

No

You will have to find someone who has heated seats and get them to look at their seat wiring loom for a part number or at the VW dealer using a VIN number from a car with heated seats

looks like this
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VW-GOLF-MK5-SEAT-WIRING-LOOM-1K0971365CA-NEW-VW-PART-/130559317262?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e65f1150e

but he doesn't have it listed for heated seats although it has lumber support

ideally yes, probably a hard one to find. You can always strip the loom of what you don't need

Just wondering if there's any reason to stay with an ECON panel? I went from an ECON to AC and it seems to be ok?
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)
