New alloys problem

My Dad has just purchased a set of alloys for his xc90,

the wheels arrived last night and we had the tyres itted this morning. Unfortunately the centre bore of the wheel has nt been machined deep enough to fit on the xc90 hubs even though they specified this car in the description of the wheels.

We are going to try and get this resolved with the supplier as they appear to have good customer service.

But does anyone know of a good place to get the centre bore machined crrectly so we can get the wheels to fit?

I wouldn't go chopping the wheels? The supplier may need them back, could just be packed wrong  :drinking:

Yes we are going to try and resolve it with the seler first before doing anything with the wheels.

Just trying to find our options.

Would have been best to ''offer'' the wheel to the hub & check the fit before any tyres were fitted,they might get funny now you have?.

I had that on my landy and it was because I had older hubs. I got a different set of wheels in the end. I don't like chopping bits out

All xc90's have the same hub so it can't be they have supplied the wheels for the wrong age, also the xc90, xc70, v70 and later 850's all use the same hub dia, so don't let them fob you off with that

thanks - yes i dont think they have supplied the wrong size, i just dont think its machined properly.

Will just have to wait til after the christmas break to see what will happen.
