Which Torque wrench for general use (if such a thing exists)

So i need to replace the tools stolen from my garage which pretty much means i have to start from scratch. I have pretty much everything i need either planned or bought but i'm not sure which torque wrench to get for general maintenance.

In the next couple of months i will be replacing the rear shocks, front drop links and a couple of other things so what i need is a torque wrench pretty much for general use.  

What would you suggest 08-60Nm

I'd say the 2nd one on the basis of the Nm range the recommended torque setting for wheel nuts is 120Nm but as for the wrench itself I have no idea how good it is

If it was me I'd get the 40nm to 200 cos let's face it anything lower than 40nm isnt a must have correct figure for a diyer, I've got both in the snap on tech wrench but I use them all day everyday

Halfords pro stuff is supposed to be pretty good. I use a 40-200nm Norbar.

Also got a - I think - 310 Nm Norbar.  Laughs in the face of wheel bolts, though unfortunately I've had to use it to loosen wheel bolts after the tyre changers have had their fun.  :fighting:

How about 1000Nm?

I use the 60 to 300 nm halfords wrench for wheel bolts and general stuff, then I have two of the snap on digital torque and angle wrenches for engine builds and more accurate stuff.

I would deffo recommend the halfords wrenches.

I have both of the halfords torque wrenches, ideal for everyday stuff.

I use a Halfrauds professional one. Also bought a breaker bar, and two alloy-friendly sockets (one for each tool). Might be useful to have a "mini" one for smaller applications.

Picked up a Trade card this afternoon and saved nearly £16 on the 60-300nm Torque wrench. Very happy.

The application process was fairly straight forward and i wasn't asked to produce anything other than my drivers licence  :happy2:

Been so busy mate! Lucky for me I didn't get round to posting it as it saved me money this week!
