If you only trust Ford to put more than 250hp through the front wheels then etto :drinking: But most manufactures could manage it excluding Vauxhall of course :driver: :grin:

I'm not trying to defend the meg here, because as I have said I would prefer the golf, but round here golf r's are ten a penny and driven by very Chavy people. The meg is not a car that appeals to posers, golfs sadly do, German init

I agree. I've seen all sorts of creatures driving Golfs, particularly here it the North West. When I see a Renaultsport car I always assume its someone who is quite serious about performance, and who are willing to compromise on comfort and image for it.
