Which rear brake pads from euro car parts?
« on: December 30, 2011, 04:36:57 pm »
My rear brakes need changing. Had a look on euro car parts and they have the following rear pads

ATE £36.60
Pagid £34.74
Eicher £18.90

Which are the best ones to go for or do they all perform more or less the same? Which ones do vw use?

Thanks for any advice.  :happy2:

ATE or the Pagid ones will be fine mate, both are OE equivalents and brands that VW use for OE parts  :happy2:

Ate also makes the GTI front calipers and Pagid do the finest race pads also.
Never heard of a company called 'Eicher' though.

ps:
if you want to change them on your own don't forget the rear calipers need
a tool that turns the piston while pressing it back in.
