FK Street Coilovers
« on: December 28, 2011, 08:03:38 am »
Anyone had the pleasure/dis pleasure of using FK Street coilovers? Seem veeeery cheap for coilovers (£200)
Iv always had springs n shockers. Coilovers much better? If at all...

Can anyone make a recommendation? Key word 'budget'.

i would like to know this as well. i like the ease of springs but you get a better drop with coils!

They get mixed reviews tbh, i looked at them but i thought they were too limited on the amount of drop they can give you, settled on AP in the end which unlike the 60mm that FK offered they supposedly would achieve a max of 90mm

load of tosh though, i ended up binning the adjusters to get the car down to where i wanted it, drop aside the ride on the AP's is brilliant

If you want value for money coil overs...
http://www.venommotorsport.com/manufacturer_product.php?manufacturer=JOM&category=Suspension&product=BluelineCoilovers
Bought these and the total price came to £193 and they couldnt be any nicer to ride on and can be lowered 30-100mm
