Sorry not got part numbers but I'm interested in this.

Is it going to make much difference? I always thought the backs did very little and the front did around 80% of the braking.

If you have someone on the inside (i.e. a helpful parts bloke) he will be able to get you all the part numbers you need.

Personally i wouldn't bother, unless you've got a massive front BBK.

Thank you very much  :happy2:  Appreciate that..

The helpful guy on the inside is an ex girlfriend who is in warranty admin but gets cheap parts just thought I would do her a favour and find the part numbers lol

Better than doing her other favours.... :scared:

Ill price up the parts for a full setup and see what it comes too...Jase :happy2:

If going down the R32 rears road then don't forget to factor in the cost and considerable ballache involved in stripping, blasting and then repainting red to match the fronts, it's a lot of work on the rears and I'd just get some A3 3.2 rears in silver and carefully paint red etc as a strip down of the rear calipers is best avoided if possible imo..
As Rich has said though, unless you are running a huge front BBK or can't live without the look of the bigger rears then I'd save the cash and unsprung weight and put the money towards some Bilstein dampers, MUCH more noticeable performance benefit..

Thanks for this advice...So I may aswell just clean and paint my current rears black to match the S3 fronts and put standard new discs and pads?

where's the best place to buy the B12's and eibachs?

Obviously the colour is down to personal preference, but i'd paint the S3 fronts red to match the rears, it's MUCH easier to do a DIY job on the front calipers rather than the rears and the end result will look more professional imo...

B12 kit = Bilstein B8 dampers and a matched spring kit (used to be H&R, now Eibach)

B8 Damper = Uprated damper designed to work with shorter lowering springs

B6 Damper = Uprated damper same as above but designed to work with oem springs / mild drop lowering springs

Again it's down to personal preference whether you go for the full B12 kit or B6/B8 dampers and your own springs of choice, personally i'd pair my AP springs with the B8 damper as the B12 kit lowers the car too much for my liking

www.balancemotorsport.co.uk

www.dpmperformance.co.uk

www.demon-tweeks.co.uk

www.awesome-gti.co.uk

www.europerformance.co.uk

The above is a good place to start off the top of my head but just the tip of the iceberg really as there are hundreds of performance parts sellers out there  :happy2:
