Space Saver on R32

It's a no brainer really. Front tyres around 225 wide & then fit  some skinny space saver!!!!!!!!!. Front does steering,braking & puts power down & then try to do that with a normal correct size wheel & tyre then expect the car to do the same with a space save on one side  . Don't think i would want to take the chance.

If i renember rightly you shouldnt fit the space saver on the driving axel of a car due to the rolling circumfrence of the wheel. Due to the fact the space saver will be diffrent to the original alloy on there it can damage something. Dnt quote me on this its just something i read on another forum :)

Rolling circumference of the GTi/R32 spacer is exactly the same as the OE alloys, and VW wouldnt supply one in the boot if it could cause damage of any kind

I sold my 18" space saver for weight savings. 

If I now would feel a need for a spare wheel I'd throw a 17" alloy wheel in.
There was a full size spare wheel option from factory.
That's why there are some polystyrol parts available to fill the space around
the spare wheel and to lift the boot floor.
