Gti disc swap ???

Hi I set about swapping my worn standard rear discs and pads for some drilledn grooved + green stuff pads but following a how 2 thread on another forum but found out that tdi breaks and gti differ and I need a star bit bigger than 12 does any one know of a how 2 on here or on line cos I can't find one or is it just whip the star bolts out job done one got the piston tool????

It's a swine to get the spline bolts behind the calipers undone!

No way do I ever put the standard bolts back on.

Always replace them with 10.9 hex heads.

Let's face it - if hex heads are good enough to hold the front calipers onto the car WTF were VW doing using splined socket head bolts on the rear?
