Joesgti's Sprint Blue Audi s3 PICS
« on: December 29, 2011, 10:12:07 pm »
Apologies for the lack of posts recently, ive been way to busy with work and the R32 made me lose my interest for a short while.  .

I put it up for sale a while ago and had a bit of a result with some idiot who left a deposit. I ended up getting a good price for it and found a sprint blue pre facelift S3 for 15k,  low miles, all options etc... but i called up the next morning and it had been sold the night before.

So i trawled through pistonheads and autotrader and there wasnt much about. I hadnt even thought about looking on audi approved untill my mates dad suggested it, so had a quick look expecting everything to be quite expensive  and found a listing for an audi s3 sprint blue with no pics for 17k, i called up and put a deposit on it without even seeing it and getting a very VERY good discount as well.

It was for sale in audi sunderland and had only been advertised 1 day or 2 days. I called and spoke to a lady called Channel who comfirmed it was a 2008 facelift in sprint blue with 'buckted' seats, that made my mind up.

When i was driving home in it i got a sudden sick feeling (and brought back many dark memories with previous 2.0tfsi's) because there was a surge then a drop in power then back on, its not that noticeable but having had problems before i knew something wasnt quite right, ive since found the previous owner and spoken to him and it has a few hidden features.   it has stage 2+ revo in stock mode, autotech hpfp, sachs clutch, rs4 fuel valve and H&R rollbars,

So the issue is down to the pump and the stock revo map.

I was down at awesome yesterday getting Toms old H&R springs fitted so its nice and low now.

Just need a DP and intake and il activate stage 2+ next week.

Have you put a splitter on it yet?

The GTI isn't just a machine. It's very much a living, breathing thing.
