Hi all about a month ago my airbag light came on with this code, 01218 pass airbag upper limit exceded, now the wiring plug on the pass seat has had the mod done already, so i cleared the code and carried on it has come on again today and wont clear down so does that mean i have to solder the wires from seat to floor aswell? any help most welcome  :happy2:
2004 Golf 5dr TDI, 140 remap, GTI front bumper, skirts, highline cluster, 18in wheels, jamax coilovers, winter pack

Thankfully my light has been off since doing the mod you mention, but had it not gone away this would've been the next thing to try  :happy2:
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

Cool. Update us on the outcome as i expect it on the other seat too.

Do not fancy chasing the wiring if it doesn't cure it.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
Now have an S4 B8 Avant (stage 2)

i agree, if it doesnt cure it then i think i will live with the light being on lol

Last weekend, I mistakenly nudged a passenger airbag plug on the 206 I'm selling and had the same fault.
Could not believe how fragile the plug was as it felt fully mated.
Used to have Edition 30 - number 009 and a GT TDI 140.
