Can Alll MFSW Buttons Be Used With An Aftermarket Headunit?
« on: December 26, 2011, 05:06:01 pm »
Hey!

Got a double DIN kenwood jobby installed in my Golf but of course, my steering wheel buttons no longer work... I've been doing a little research into steering wheel adaptor leads and I think this is the best one to go for:

http://www.fitcaraudio.co.uk/volkswagen-polo-jetta-eos-steering-wheel-control-adaptor-lead-ctsvw002-p-1078.html?utm_campaign=GOOGLE%20BASE&utm_source=Google%20Base

If I get this, does anyone know if it will make all the steering wheel buttons work? (not just volume, but the mute button and the telephone answer button).

Thanksssss
Nick

As far as I can tell you'll only be able to use the track selection and volume button's on the steering wheel and nothing else will work,I bought a top of the range Kenwood system(DNX-9240BT)and did'nt fit it as I opted for the RNS510 which I had coded to work with all my multifuntion button's and I love it! :happy2:
