VAG reader in Portsmouth help needed!
« on: January 03, 2012, 09:21:44 pm »
My son has developed an engine managment fault on his MK5 Golf 1.9 TDI, he is currently in Portsmouth but needs to return to the North East at the weekend. Is there anyone in the Portsmouth area with a VAG reader who could highlight the fault codes(s) before he drives home and if safe to do so. He states the car seems to drive ok but has the glow plug flashing (limp mode?) My son is only available on an evening, Any help appreciated and few cans of beer

Brad.

Can't really help but if no one with a vcds cable replies here then I would try phoning JMK Performance and ask if they could facilitate him.
