If you are thinking of going to a K04 setup I might know where there is a good low miles K04 Turbo and a set of S3 injectors

I think it needs clarifying that a stage 2 on a Ko3 gti does not give the same power as a stage 2 on a Ko4 ED30.

Stage 2 on aKo3 car is about 280-300 bhp

Stage 2 on a Ko4 car is about 330-340bhp

thats if my memory is up to scratch.

Thanks a lot guys, I'm going to start trawling the web to find out how much all of this is going to cost!

When I first joined the Forum in November, I said to myself that Stage 1 would be it, no more, but TFSi Mike warned me I'd end up  bankrupt, and I reckon he could prove to be right! Can't wait to get going!

If I get to Stage 2 or Stage 2 plus on my K03, but then upgrade to K04, do I have to get all  the mapping done again If I want to stay at this Stage?

Those figures sound high. I'm running stage 2 on a KO4 and it makes 290.

At the OP,

There are kits out there at about £2000 plus fitting.

It is worth noting that the turbo and manifold (all one unit) is not that expensive from the dealers new.

Milltek tbe, Forge intercooler, AMD map, Eibach Sportlines, Porsche 996 over AMG 330mm homegrown BBK
